Courage to Care DVD

Trinity Community Ministries is pleased to offer a DVD of the October 28, 2008, Courage to Care program featuring authors Ron Hall and Denver Moore of the New York Times best-selling book, Same Kind of Different As Me. In partnership with 33 agencies dedicated to Atlanta’s homeless issues, the event raised awareness, funds and volunteer support for Atlanta’s homeless community. More than 2,600 Atlantans gathered at the Georgia World Congress Center to hear from Hall and Moore who told an inspirational story of their unlikely friendship. It includes interviews done in the hallway before and after the luncheon and the video that ran on the screens prior to the program. The DVD is available for purchase online for $25, which includes shipping.

Their extraordinary tale of friendship has touched thousands of lives and raised awareness of homelessness across the country.

Trinity Community Ministries is a 501(c)3 non-profit, faith-based organization that has faithfully served Atlanta’s hungry, homeless and addicted since 1988, connecting them to collaborative outreach partners and recovery programs. Our goal is to educate more than 2,000 Atlantans at a luncheon on October 28, igniting a spirit of compassion that will further motivate and enable our great city to help our neighbors, who after all aren’t much different than you and me. You can help us make a difference by having the courage to care.

Trinity Community Ministries is hosting this luncheon along with other non-profit agencies that work with the homeless in metro Atlanta. We invited these agencies to participate as we truly intend to focus on the needs to eliminate homelessness in Atlanta and the collaborative efforts of the many agencies working to solve this problem.
