|Dear Friend of Trinity Community Ministries,Thank you for joining us at our recent Honorary Board meeting. I thank God that He gives me the opportunity to see the miracle of His work through others. By the way, I thought this event was one of our best!
Recently, becoming Executive Director of Trinity Community Ministries (TCM), I personally experienced the growth of Lionel and Donald. Both of these men impressed me with their determination to move forward, while reaching back, to help the next man in our program. They spoke with great wisdom and inspiration. I was especially touched hearing Lionel tell of losing a brother in a senseless crime. He found brothers at Trinity House, and a family of volunteers that support our mission. Donald spoke of having 18 months if sobriety, after completing our program. It was for him a great sense of accomplishment.
Our guest speaker, Chris Chambliss, delivered a powerful message of the importance of teamwork. He spoke of when working together, great things can be accomplished. Chris visited Trinity House a few weeks ago, and he was clearly influenced by the time spent with the men. Chris came to us after staying up all night to watch the Chicago Cubs win the World Series. We sincerely thank him for his time and talents.
It is with this same conviction that I encourage you to renew your leadership support with a gift or pledge to Trinity Community Ministries. We welcome you to our Honorary Board with a gift of $1,000. Remember, you are always welcome as a volunteer to insure the ongoing success of our mission. And always, we ask for your prayers. The men helped by your generosity, gratefully thank you.
I would be remiss if I didn’t say thank you to all the folks who stood at the podium, and the many behind the scenes who brought it all together. We are especially grateful to our sponsors Peachtree Road UMC.
Finally, I want to reiterate to everyone who donates to our programs, your support allows us to continue our services and to share with you the inspiration of those we touch. We need your tax deductible donation to help the brotherhood of men who walk through our doors. Please consider making us your charity of choice this year by sending a check or electronic donation through our website. Every dollar counts. Thank you again.
